Key Features and Specifications

This light kit is recognized for its universal design, which allows it to be compatible with many existing ceiling fans, particularly those from the Harbor Breeze brand. The primary features include:

• Design and Finish: The kit features a sleek, modern style with a white finish and three alabaster glass shades. The alabaster shades are designed to soften the light, reducing harsh shadows and creating a warm, inviting ambiance.

• Compatibility: The light kit is generally a universal fit for many ceiling fans with a 1/2-inch threaded center post. It comes with the necessary wiring for a straightforward installation, assuming the ceiling fan itself is already set up for a light kit.
• Dimensions:
  • Length: 14.3 inches
  • Width: 14.2 inches
  • Height: 6.3 inches
• Additional Details: Some models of this light kit may also be wet-rated, making them suitable for use in outdoor covered areas like porches or patios. It typically includes a pull-chain for on/off control of the lights.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation involves connecting the light kit’s wiring to the corresponding wires in the ceiling fan. It’s often recommended to consult a professional electrician or refer to the fan’s manual to ensure proper and safe installation. For maintenance, the alabaster shades can be easily removed for cleaning and for replacing bulbs. Regular dusting will help maintain its clean, modern appearance.
